Getting in the Mood...
I first fell in love with the work of Charles Wysocki when I happened upon a lovely post over at Pumpkinrot some time ago... and I have *no* idea why it's taken me this long to post a few samples...

I found a number of his paintings on Halloween greeting cards about a decade ago and have loved his work ever since.
