the photos are creepy but simply amazing...Maybe it was "Child's Play" - would be interesting to know where the first spark came in from.

AAAAAAUGH CREEPY DOLLS! D-:Thanks for that. No sleep for me. Ever. ;)
The mice with cat's head are definite nightmare material for me. And that poor peacock..Keep telling yourself it's just a painting, it's just a painting...
Wow, Trix. It gets no better than this!Very beautiful.
Oh Phantom, We somehow barely missed one another and I didn't realize you'd stopped by! Must be a doll day. As you can see, this artist prefers to portray her dolls in a less than innocent way. They look abandoned, perhaps abused, but in my opinion seem to be on a journey for justice. Perhaps another photographer would choose to show the melancholy side of these dolls.
Thanks for stopping by kids!It fills my cold black heart with joy to know I'm not the only one with more than a passing interest in creepy dolls. The paintings offer up a different version of terror by way of cute and sweet innocence mixed with obvious cruelty.Maison!! Where have you been hiding? I love Agnes, but I was concerned you'd gone on permanent holiday. Wherever you went, and for whatever reason you've returned, I'm just happy to see you haunting the halls. :)Certainly, Vicar, you're not afraid of a couple of dollies are you? ;) I suppose if you're giving up sleeping completely, whether forced or by choice, you'll have more free time to watch your groovy horror flicks, right? Does this mean you'll be feeding your fans a steady stream of reviews just like always, only now much more often? No pressure or anything. ;)
I will post (some of) my own doll pictures next week.It is bizarre that we both posted doll subjects without collusion.
Looking forward to seeing the images, Phantom. It's odd that I find myself fearful of dolls in general, but I'm confident I'll find beauty within yours.
I hope I won't disappoint you, Trix.
I had a thorough look at Kelly Haigh's dollinthefamily website. It's amazing. I love the carnival images especially. She's a force of nature.
Kelly Haigh is also delightfully friendly and gracious! She sent an email thanking me for posting her work and included some sweet compliments about my blog in general. Although I've not yet had an opportunity to explore her music, I plan to *very* soon. She's quite extraordinary!
Man, 'dem some CREEPY ass dolls! 10,000 times creepier than friggin' Chucky! Of course, you KNOW I love 'em!!
Gilly! I'm so happy to see my favorite Creature! :) Chuck and I are going absolutely mad trying to decide on a theme for Halloween this year, but one thing I won't have at the ol' haunted homestead is a single creepy doll... or a clown, intentionally creepy or not. I might consider creating a Sam replica from Trick 'r Treat, but I'm not sure if I'm brave enough. ;) xo
I have a friend, who is incredibly short, who is seriously considering going as Sam for Halloween! I wanna Sam tattoo!
No way! A Sam tattoo? That's awesome, and so perfect for you! I haven't seen much Sam fanart but I imagine that'll change once we see widespread distribution of the film.
I think dolls are officially now creepier than clowns could ever be, with the exception of Pennywise. Um, thank you for the nightmares, m'dear. And now I want to go home and look at my Dare Wright Lonely Doll books because they're downright delightful in comparison to these. ;-) No, seriously, those pictures are really, really cool in a primal, creepy kind of way.
